Cap and cove installation involves fitting the Altro safety vinyl slightly up the walls to get a seamless water-resistant finish. This method is particularly effective for showers and wet rooms, as it means the water doesn’t collect in the edges, making it a perfect safety flooring for wet rooms as it’s easier to keep clean and maintain a hygienic environment. Our cap and cove finish comes with a PTV ≥50 slip resistance and a 10-year guarantee, ensuring long-term durability and safety.

As a comparison, our flat lay installation does just that and involves laying the flooring flat without extending it up the walls. This option is ideal for areas where water resistance is less of a concern but safety and durability are still paramount, as it offers a PVT ≥36 slip resistance and a 5-year guarantee.
