Types of Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring (LVT)

There are several types of commercial vinyl flooring, each with unique features and benefits to suit all commercial and industrial environments. Some common types of commercial vinyl flooring options available at Lake & Co Flooring include:

Dryback (Glue Down) LVT:

LVT office flooring is a type of vinyl flooring that looks like real tile or stone. This variation of LVT is glued down and is the easiest way to create bespoke designs, such as Herringbone or border work. It is the most popular vinyl tile, and you can use it in domestic and commercial settings with different wear layers for various applications.

Click LVT:

This vinyl tile style is designed to reduce the pressure away from preparing the subfloor, which sits under the vinyl tile. The tiles lock together like traditional laminate office flooring and industrial laminate flooring and are well-suited for DIY projects. They are also good for areas where dampness is an issue, as the flooring normally incorporates a built-in damp-proof underlay. It naturally increases soundproofing and also warmth within the room.

Looselay LVT:

Looselay is designed to be a quick and easy flooring solution for commercial environments. You can lay it over raised access flooring and other substrates where the flooring may need lifting for maintenance or inspection. The tiles are usually a large format tile in wood or stone and are the easiest way to update your office from carpet tiles to hard flooring.

How Much Does LVT Flooring Cost?

As standard, the supply and fit of our wood effect vinyl flooring installation can cost between £45.50 per sqm (+VAT) for straight lay and £75 per sqm (+VAT) for herringbone.

Using our flooring cost calculator, discover how much your LVT flooring installation will cost in a matter of seconds. Prices are based on the following options:

Straight Lay LVT

This is the most traditional pattern and installation method for vinyl tiles. Select a realistic natural flooring pattern for a luxurious style without the cost of wooden flooring.

Herringbone LVT

A step up in price, our herringbone vinyl panels are a triangular pattern of wood-effect flooring. The hugely popular pattern can optimise space, making corridors and hallways appear larger.
