In the corner of Abingdon, Oxford, our client’s three-story building sat in front of us like a blank canvas. Our client had made the decision to relocate into the premises, using it as their new HQ – a project that involved a complete refurbishment and new office flooring across two floors.

Create a workplace that embraced an agile work model. A focus was placed on providing interior solutions that nurtured the team’s wellbeing and in turn, enhanced their focus and productivity. It was our responsibility to ensure these details were considered throughout their flooring installation.

Stepping into the office’s shell, we couldn’t underestimate the huge opportunity available for our client. Guided by the expertise of our design team, we created a conscious floor plan that utilised carpet tiles as a creative zoning solution.

In these design stages, we explored the selection of carpet colours, textures and patterns needed to create a bespoke feature floor – something that would set the workplace apart from the rest.

We selected this commercial flooring solution for our client due to the high traffic use of their office that made their carpets more prone to damage. This will save our client effort and costs if replacements are needed in the future. With that said, carpet tiles are a durable option that is less likely to lose quality over time.

Drawing on our experience and industry connections, we installed vibrant carpet tiles that tastefully incorporated the company’s branding into the overall office design, establishing a sense of authority and brand awareness.

This, coupled with the zoning design, largely benefitted our client’s employees. Empowered by the branded hues of the carpet design, the team could streamline their workflow and easily navigate the new office layout.
